Hi, welcome to the forum. That's a nice looking Ped you have there, i thought it was an aerox from my first glance...

Sounds like you have a really decent setup, and you have everything you need to run a Mid-race aluminium cylinder for some serious speed ;)

I had a Stage6 MKII, but the piston got a big chunk ripped off it. My wrist pin bearing failed.

On the MKII cylinder i was hitting 68-70 mph.

Cylinder is still ok, just needs a new piston.

Sounds good, why not get another piston for it then? Was that on the stock crank?

I am still running with stock crank... (12mm end) I've been hitting 11,000+ rpm and its been good so far. I try to keep it around 10,000 - 10,500 though. When I get the funds I am going to get the Stage6 High Compression Crank and a new piston for the sport pro MKII. Also going to port match the cases as well.

Scooter scene is mild so to say... It is starting to get more popular though.

I have one buddy here in my city that drag races one of his scoots. We have a thing called NASRA (North American Scooter Racing Association) here. I'm not really into the drag racing, but if I were going to race my scoot it would be circuit racing.

My scoot is my daily driver so I would need another to drive or mod into a racer though. I've just started modding about two years ago so I'm still learning. Although I do know my way around a Horizontal Minarelli AC. I just had to replace my right side case half a couple months ago.

Scooter tuning has become an addiction... Now that I know whats up... I want to do more...

It is starting to get expensive though, and I still need more parts. Internal Rotor Ignition, higher end cylinder, better pipe, and an over-range CVT. Maybe more...

Stage6 racing mkII and a yasuni c20 would be a real beast...

That would be a BEAST. I can't wait to get a new piston for my Stage6 Sport Pro MKII and a Yasuni C-20 or C-21.

I ran my aerox with a sport pro mk2 on a doppler s3r, equivelent to pro rep. It was fast but i always wanted to unleash it with a c16 or c20!

I had a 17.5mm carb, you could tell it was holding it back because it would only rev up with like 7/8 throttle or more!
