Hi I just got a Leo Vince tt exhaust and I fitted it to day, I took the restrictor out of it but I didn’t put the rollers and the clutch springs that came with the exhaust. It has got good acceleration but only went 30mph but with the standard exhaust I got 55mph. So I decided to fit the rollers that came with the exhaust it did rev at 2000rpm but know it revs at 4000rpm and also it is really load and I am afraid if the street complain (sounds like a really loud lawn mower) is their any way of making it quitter and faster.

my guess is that its blowing ? did you put a gasket on the end that attaches to the stub on the barrel??

Their wasn’t a gasket with my new exhaust and my old one. And their was no gasket with the set. If I put heavier rollers in will this solve the problem of revving to high?

yes, pipes are pipes, they make noise... if it has an e mark point it out to any neighbours and tell them to fuck off... you have the right to ride a legal bike to and from your house at whatever hour you wish aslong as your not being a nusance on perpous

I put heavier rollers in which are 9.0g but it still revs at 4000, but it is blowing allot because one of the bolts has snapped at the cylinder head, know the exhaust doesn’t fit properly so my dad is going to put this special cement on it for exhausts is the a good idea? Then we r taking it to a bike shop.

4000rpm is low as fuck.. its too heavy rollers not too light.

fact, you REALLY shouldent be messing wiht your bike.. not just yet anyway. sort the problems with it first (snapped studs are NOT fixed wiht some "putty" you need to remove and replace broken studs. air leeks in the exhaust WILL melt your piston. putty will NOT fix this.

read some of the guides.. understand WHAT your doing wiht jets and rollers BEFOR you fumbel through asking silly questions.. could learn everything you need to know in a matter of a day reading through posts/guides on here. fucking about wiht things you dont undersatand will result in a dead bike. usually from bodging up broken parts YOU broke fitting them incorrectly/wiht the wrong tools

ayeee i have a problem similiar to this... i have a yamaha slider n i got a performance air filter and a performance pipe on leovince ZX homemade...it runs faster dan before its air cool 80cc piston but im confused about the roller weights to get that quick kick off the line and topp speeeddd like above 120km..

couldn't have said it better minor.

Get your bike sorted out before you start to tune it, broken studs mean leaks, leaks mean the engine runs hotter as less fuel is resinating back into the cylinder due to the loss of pressure, therfore the piston expands too much, starts to pick up on the barrel and hey presto you are down on power.

first thing to do is get that stud sorted, revert your bike to how it was before and start from there.

2 big NOs in the 2 stroke world are exhaust putty and broken studs.

when you've got this sorted, go out and get yourself a couple of exhaust gaskets, you are gonna need them.

120 k's is optimistic. you will need to be running gear up and a pretty hot setup, unfortunately this will compromise your takeoff speed. i'm yet to see an 80cc slider with the original ac lump but i've been suprised before. off the line speed is down to clutch setup then from 30kph you are looking at roller weights, lighter revs harder, heavier flattens the revs, you want the bike at the bottom of its powerband from a standstill all the way through to about 30mph (50 kph) then it should increase in rpm as it reaches the end of its variator travel.
