    Hi there,

Now i got the Doppler S3R fitted, my bike has REALLY slow acceleration, like im just sitting on the bitting point on a car/bike, after a while, it hits the powerband, and flys to 30mph, then goes from a NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE sound revvin at 8000+ rpm to NUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR and revs under 6000rpm not going any higher than 30, until i stop, move off again and repeats.

    I got a 60 Main Jet and 4.7gr Rollers, Just ordered a Stage6 box of 2.5gr, 3.0gr,3.5gr and 4gr in a set.

ANy ideas? I can make a video 2moro if it helps?

EDIT: ...and yes, The cone has been cut out the manifold.

the doppler s3r has a restrictor in the end pipe aswell. what is your standard mj size? sounds again like rollers are too heavy.

Standard MJ is 56, I've read, 60-65 is ideal, but i cant get another one in as carb has been cross threaded from a fucking idiot previous owner. THats why i ordered the roller set, 2.5gr should be light enough :good:

yeah if anything wayy too light. but 60 seems ok sort of main jet. try the heaviest set first and then you can allways move down on weights untill you find the right one. and also take the restrictor out of the end can if you havent done so allready

This has all been answered in another post, he has left the restrictor in the end can and is now wondering why the scoot dosnt perform!

Yeah going to remove it in a sec, when the pipes cooled down. I'll let you know how it goes, if its the same, ill make a video, even know my road is short, you can't really see as i cant hit 30 on my road, but then again, ill try. :good:

Okay, Removed the end can restrictor -

Feels a bit better, acceleration is better, not much but is better, powerband is quicker but still not perfect, still goes to 30mph and dies down, but i managed to get 40 a minute ago on a long road, so i think its roller related, need to be lighter, so when the roller set comes, ill play about and see how it goes :yahoo:

lolz dont forget the air/fuel mix i think its wrong judging by the change in engine note after 8000 rpm.

There also may be a restrictor in the downpipe not just in the end can.

The mixture has been correctly adjusted, It's better than it was, before, it would stall on cold now just keeps running fine, before the bike wouldnt even move after i gave it some, Now it works, just slow accel' and stays at 30mph, im thinking its rollers, so i ordered a Stage6 box of 2.5gr-4.0gr rollers, so i can fiddle with them, got 4.7's in there at the mo' and the mechanic said 4.3's is the optimum but we'll see.

Yeah, They are both removed :good:
