ok, replace the coil feed wire (lil purple one from the coil to the cdi) make sure the engine is earthed (ether via a wire from the frame to the engine or the starter motor negative on the ac 125's) unplug the loom connector from the stator (the plug with 2 yelklows and a green) leaving the cdi connected.. now try for a spark. if there is still no spark theres a problem wiht ether the cdi the stator/pickup or the flywheel.

thanx minor had a good check over it but still cart find the problem iv traced back from the ht lead to the relay so i think it must lie withink the stator/pickup or the flywheel what would be your next step minor

if youve done the above and still get no spark and youve replaced the coil it will need ether a cdi or the stator/flywheel replacing.. throw a friends cdi on and see if you get a spark

yep there is a removal tool, verry cheap, dont try do it without it, you will break more than its worth.

just to be sure, unplug EVERYTHING from the stator.. plug the cdi in, the other wire out of the cdi to the coil, then the ht lead from the coil to the plug(unscrew the wire from the cap, cut off 1cm and screw it back on, repeat at coil end). earth the frame to the engine. check for a spark with a new plug. if theres no spark then its deffo stator/pickup/flywheel related.
