Hay all scooter heads ) hope you can spend the time to read this and help me through this (im ok at putting a bike together but not too good with carbs....as my lifes hectic so never had a chance to tune etc) i bought brother a nrg mc3 dd 2003 (liquid cooled) it has standard dellorto 17.5 carb (with coolant flow) hes put a 70cc streetrace on it polini small open filter it also has a polini variator and belt i noticed carb in a bad state (float bowl warped and bad) and instead of buying a new float bowl etc i got hold of the same complete carb (off a nrg power 2007 with only 500milesuse, ebay) seems like telling truth as looks pretty good (just very dirty on the outside) should i just strip the carb spray carb cleaner on it let it dry take pilot jet out of other carb (as think diff size) then put 120 main jet in (good to start high with this setup ive been told?) prob is whats the start airscrew setting is it 2 and a hlf turns out for the nrg mc3 dd? help please guys
