hello people, im just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on cranks are bearings for a 50cc cylinder, its a 2005 SR50R stock with LV TT pipe and a few other little things. The top end was replaced in may along with all the bearings and seals BUT the crank wasn't replaced. Now the crank has gone and its damaged the bearings too so im just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a crank upgrade, Im not planning on moving to a 70cc as i wont have the bike after January so just something that will give the new owner piece off mind, Stock replacement crank is £60 so things around that price please.
Is that the piaggio engine? You generally aren't going to get a better than stock crank for stock crank money? It's £50 for a standard one and at least £90 for a uprated one.
Yep, its the Liquid cooled piaggio engine, what sort off cranks would i be looking at at the £90 mark, Seen a TNT cranks and matching main bearings on Adrenaline pedstop but iv never had any experience with TNT so i don't have any judgement to go by, £65 TNT Racing Crankshaft £67 TEKNIX OQE CRANKSHAFT £86 Top Racing Evo High Tech Crankshaft £86 DOPPLER - Full Mass Race Crankshaft £97 DOPPLER - Endurance Crankshaft Any recommendations on the above would be great, Thanks!
TNT are terrible parts. I would buy parts from a better supplier as well. They generally sell pretty terrible parts and you can get better cranks for the same money elsewhere. Doppler cranks are ok however.
