well, most people would advise an exhaust first, but minor would advise a 70 kit cos i reckon he must hate sports exhausts or summit.

i personally would advise an exhaust first as you can feel instant increase in speed, a 70 kit has to be run in etc etc, but the end result of just a 70 kit is much better than just a sports exhaust

and i bet someone is going to tell you to introduce yourself first lol.

    lol :msn1:

    70 kit first always, match a pipe to a 70 kit not a 70 kit to a pipe ;)

start with the 70kit..exhausts for the money dont give all that much performance. 70 kit and run it in and go from there

deffo get a 70 kit, with a standard exhaust you will still beat all your matees sweaty 50s, an exhaust on its own will only add a few miles an hour and will be loud and shit plus a 70 kit is cheaper
polini sport FTW :w00t: :w00t: :punk:

if i got just the 70 kit wouldent i need a bigger crb to help it ? or would it be fine with the 70 jet ive got in the standrd carb now,and how hard is it to fit a new cylinder kit ?

Not too bad fitting the cylinder, few hints and tips in the search.

As for upjetting get a range of jets that way you can find the best one. A bigger carb would be better but as with evrything, each part compliments another

no he just knows what hes doing. sport exhausts are good but performance for money wise a 70 is way way better. youve already had a sold as seen project so please dont reccomend whatever you do to your poor stalker.

running in is complicated but HAS to be done so do it right otherwise you will end up with a non running bike

and p.s for a TRUE 65mph id reccomend atleast a 70, carb, and gear up.

remember before you buy ANY tuning parts you need to decide how far you are going to go because you'll need to match products with products for best power output

    welcome to shack btw :D

to get the best from a 70 kit you will need exhaust, carb, variator etc....but!!!

The 70 kit will run ok with std carb and derezzed std exhaust, and still give more power than a sports pipe on a 50 barrel ;)

you can add all the other bits as and when you can afford them, gaining more power in stages along the way :D

    hi people

ok yes you will get more power/speed out of a 70cc kit but there is a lot of work to do to fit the kit right. e.g taking the engine out.

and to get the best out of the 70cc kit you will need an exhaust, tranmission, carb etc

i would first get an exhaust, variator, belt (for strength) and up jet the carb, see how that go's and if you what more speed you can then do the 70 kit

    hope this helps BYS

wrong. all the parts you suggest are parts that should be used only to perfect the performance of a 70cc kit.not the otherway round.

a 70 kit is the most basic way of getting the most power for the least amount of money, and its actualy rare that you have to drop the engine out.

plus 70 kit works well with standard de restricted pipe on piggy engines.

fitting a 70 kit isnt hard ffs :msn1:

im betting you are some kid yeah...am i right??

And you dont necessarily have to take the engine out, depends on the scooter ;)

And you show me an exhaust, variator and belt cheaper than a 70 kit :bird:

hi yer i am a kid that has built lots of scooter engines. it is always better to take the engine out.

and no fitting the 70 kit is not hard to me but for this lad it may be very hard, does he know about piston end gaps and measuring the perfect gaskets

ok it may be cheaper to get a 70 but you will not be getting the most out of the kit without the exhaust.

and if he doesn't fit the kit right he will be left with a non-runner. plus you have got the running in bit.

you need to know what your doing to fit a 70 but you don't need to know what you are doing to fit an exhaust

    please seriously, you're killing me

    piston end gaps :msn1:
    measuring perfect gaskets :msn1:

if you're going to try and boast knowledge, atleast use correct terminology, i'd be worried if i had a gap in the end of my piston, my piston RINGS however, thats different.

and as for perfect gaskets, i believe u mean setting the squish correctly, but im not sure, you might mean using super turbo stage6 gaskets.

this quote is one of the answers to your "why does nobody like boost ya scoot" thread.
