Well, it all began when I was brousing the internet looking for a new bike, everyday i would search new places trying to find a 2-stroke 125. In the end I realised why go 2-stroke, after seeing my mates cbr125, which is actually very nippy for what it is! So i decided to take the 4-stroke route as i hope *fingers crossed* to be going on alot of rideouts this year. I started looking at the 4-t's my options were finally down to: -CBR125 -XT125 -Derbi Senda sm125 here's why I liked these bikes. CBR125 Looks are ok and seemed quite fast for a 4-stroke, great value too as the first buyer generally suffers the money loss in the first year. cheap as chips. (friend picked his up for £1400, mint condition and F.S.H only had 2 services because of the year and mileage ) XT125 Well the looks are not that disimilar to its 2-stroke brother, the DT125 which i liked alot, wasn't sure about speeds, reliability etc etc. But to my astonishment, my other friend picks one up the next day, pays £1700 for a 2004/5 in ok condition. bit too much money in my opinion so i ruled this one out. DERBI SENDA SM125 Generally like the looks of the newer senda's, the supermotard is what i was looking for, so when one poped up on Ebay (yes i said it) i clicked the "watch this item" button with my mouse. I checked back after the listing had ended, whats this no bids? woo! i e-mailed the seller to make sure everything was legitimate, and i wasn't going to get a bum deal. he sounded like a bit of a plonker but what can you do about the owner hey  Friday comes and my mother and I rent a van for £55 for 2 days. we borrow a freinds TOMTOM (i strongly belive this thing was given to us by god!) and type in our final destination. "Walton-on-the-naze" the TOMTOM read Walton-On-The-Naze 92.2 miles 2hr 21mins arrival time 1:21 Off we set in our newly rented transit, got lost once, but the TOMTOM directed us right back on route! get to Walton-On-The-Naze ring up the seller. "hi we've come to look at the bike" he rides down on the unbeliably clean fresh looking derbi senda sm. my jaw drops, and i start foaming at the mouth. I start to get my hands dirty, digging into the bike to find any signs of neglect, what do i find you ask. there is 2milimeters extra movement in the chain than the manual states is the correct adjustment. i snap up the bike and strap it into the transit. well done if you made it this far  i paid £1100 2005 derbi senda sm125 11450km FSH here she is.. can't wait till the 26th now
LIFE STORY :bird: :w00t: that bike looks alot bigger than a 125 :msn1: lol what do they go like acceleration wise and top speed ? imp:
cool, just noticed the acerbis diamond headlight (check www.derbi-club.com/forum if you want to discuss with other people with this bike). (don't take any mechanical advice from them though, they are useless when it comes to that)
CBR FTW... Its a nice bike, a few too many stickers, but thats almost sorted, its fuckin loud and beats my CBR, sometimes, but im not the lightest of people, whereas morgan may aswell not exist... yes hes a skinny runt.
personally i would have met the guy at his house, by the sounds of it you didnt. stunning bike though, look after it unk:
I Have the old style on order but thinking of changing and getting the new 07 one it looks amazing ,the one that i have on order has done 900 miles and is 06 reg
The new CBR's arent out till July, and even though they look nice, theyre fuel injection. No real difference in speed, carbs are meant to be smoother. How long you got to wait anyway?
Thought it was the other way round? Yamaha YBR's are now FI and run a whole lot smoother than the old carbed ones IMO.
Birthdays on the 5th of july so have plenty of time to decide. i will prob end up just goin with last years model
Yeah, itd be cheaper, for the same bike. It handles great, i get my footpeg down on most corners, on the shitty standard tyres, ask morgan, he saw me
