after my belt was worn a f00k with a chunk missing it was time for a new one, but due to having a bad history with a polini belt etc, eg it being too big to fit on my spindle and started grinding stuff up, no matter how i put it on, i pinched the clutch to make adequate room when fitting but after riding it kept making a mess of things. It's an aerox 70 polini sport with a PM 360 pipe. i've had a new ring and small end bearing put in and dropped the needle to the bottom notch on the standard carb. So ordered in another standard belt for it, fit it, and ever since it's just not been right, i don't know if it's because it's wider or what not, but before the belt it was very revvy, nice and pokey and a nippy bike. this belt has just wiped that out now it just feels sluggish, not very pokey and it just doesn't seem to rev. Now i've got a decent knowledge about peds but and my first guess would be lighter rollers but dont know if it's anything to do with the clutch.. *it's a PM clutch btw* i'll try lighter rollers but help if anyone knows what i need or have had this before. cheers, noob.
my aerox destroyed my old kevlar belt, got a new polini one and it snapped after about 90 miles? wish i never got an aerox ,there sh!t
belt is run in now i think, aerox's aren't shit you might have just had a bad experience with it, i've had them with mine when you just want to get rid of it haha
