    Hi all,

Just wanted to make you aware of the new-to-UK range of Anlas tyres for scooters & mopeds.

The range includes the Winter Grip 2, which some of you may already know as the ContiMove365 which Anlas made under licence for Continental.

Now that Continental have dropped the Move365 from their range, the Anlas Winter Grip 2 is your direct replacement option (plus it's an upgraded version of the Conti badged tyre so offers even better performance).

The Winter Grip 2 range has more sizes than Conti's old Move365, plus some radial options for maxi scooters.

It's as durable as the old Move365, so it will not suddenly wear out when the weather warms up - it's a solid all-season tyre and great in the wet.

Also we've got the Tournee, which beat both the Michelin City Grip and Dunlop Scoot Smart in back to back dry and wet magazine tests on an X-Max 250 last year, again available in radial sizes too for bigger scooters.

Other patterns also available in various sizes - see www.anlas-tyres.co.uk for info and the test mentioned above.

Available through most scooter/motorcycle tyres shops in the UK!

    Keep it shiny side up.

Well now, this is a first, for me at least.
    A USEFUL SPAMMER:D
I've always known that tyres are made under license from various manufacturers, but they do like to keep it quiet don't they...............

    Thanks Steve.

I work for the importer for Conti 2-wheel in the UK, and basically when they dropped the Move365 because of poor sales elsewhere in Europe it left a big hole in our range as we sold a lot of them here - so we've now started to bring in the Anlas range to cover it. Just need to spread the word in case anyone is looking everywhere for a replacement for their worn out Move365 and scratching their heads.

Anlas make tyres for a couple of brands, plus other equipment used during the manufacturing process - their facility is top notch, one of our team has been to see it and it's better than some of the big names, more modern etc!

Yes you're right, no one wants you to know that certain tyres are just re-badged... plenty of manufacturers do it, although there are some exceptions too!

Can these tyres be found on the likes of Oponeo/MyTyres/TyreTraders etc?
Or have you a link to the UK stockists?
What kind of prices are we looking at for these tyres?

    Hi Steve,

We don't deal with the likes of Oponeo/MyTyres etc, and neither do Anlas directly as far as I'm aware - they're all based abroad, and tend to buy up over aged stock which has to be sold at a discount by law in some European countries.

In terms of UK stockists, there is a map at http://www.anlas-tyres.co.uk/find-dealer/ although any dealer in the UK with a Cambrian Tyres trade account can order them in for you next working day - and that's more than 2,000 motorcycle and scooter tyre specialists.

Price wise it's dependent on size and we only deal with the trade, and there is no set RRP within the tyre industry.

Anlas have no intention of being a 'cheap & cheerful' brand to compete with Chinese tyre makers for example - but you'll certainly find them to be competitively priced against some of the leading brands, whilst offering on-par performance.

We've had several customers test their small & big-bike tyres, and so far they've been very impressed.
