Hi I'm new to this forum
    I got a 02 malaguti f15
I brought a new air filter
It says i should up jet the carb
The size of the jet was 64 so i brought a new on what was 76

But when i put the new filter on the bike bogs

When i pull away its reallly slugish but with the standerd air box it fine.

Do i need to get a bigger jet?

And some said someting about soaking the new air filter?

    Cheers

I take it by new air filter you mean open air filter ??

when you remove the air box and fit an open filter you lose a shit load of low/mid range torque, so youll have to drop your roller weight a bit to compensate ;)

also your mixture screw may need richening up as well.

open filters arent a brilliant idea on stock scooters...
