hello again folks has anyone bought one of theses universal sidestands from ebay and what clamp size is it http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140335087619&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT im thinking off getting one cos my centre stands knackered. the pin holes have gone oval and i carnt get the pin out to remove the centre stand has its seized in so im thinking of chopping it off and fitting one of those universal ones or better still does anyone know the measurement of the frame tubing on the neos is it 1 inch, 1 and 1 8th, or 1 and 1 4th inch diameter
Go with a Buzzetti one, I bought one for my NRG, But the bolt keeps coming loose for some reason, May of mounted in the wrong place But i would get a branded one, Mine was same price as that, from adrenaline. But they arent very secure, Spring back on the slightest breeze. Best bet is to buy a new Centre Stand aswell.
if i could get the dam pin out of the centre stand id replace it and i wouldnt bother fitting a side stand
cant help much as you havent listed WHAT BIKE you have... if its piaggio 50 you can just unbolt the lot from the engine and replace it..
