So basically i was looking around for a moped because i had just turned 16 an i came across a yamaha neos. it only set me back £300. rid the boost bottle, and endy pipe, go for a nice sport spec 70cc kit,(polini sport , or malossi sport) and a lazer x pro exhaust if youve really got the tuning bug go for a 21 ml carb or even a higher spec 70 kit (malossi mhr rep, polini corsa etc etc)
what he said for the money you're likely to spend you can get a decent sport 70 kit, and you will feel the 70 a lot more then you will feel an endy pipe, a PMtuning pretty bottle and an air filter.
you could get it pretty fast for under £500, theyre not as suspect either being granny peds. go for polini sport 70 - £60 dell 21 carb - £60# laser x pro - £110 rollers clutch springs etc belt - £50 £280... then other odds and sods, gearup maybe etc
polini sport iron kit ?? theyre like £65 for an ac, like £100 for LC
my neos only had the cheap polini 70cc kit, a tecnigas next r exhaust, and with 4.5 gram rollers it was the nuts of a cheap set up, embarrased a few more expensive bikes, still pulled 60 on a flat. get a cheap 21mm carb and it'd be rapid, very light bike
