right i will give you a spec list so far endy power pipe 5.5g rollers yellow clutch springs polini foam air filter all was well with the bike without the filter apart from a leaky exhuast gasget (which i need a new one so if anyone knows where i can get one would be good). But now i have put the air filter on its running like poo it boggs out on full revs and before the speedo needle used to go off the clock on a flat road but it says at 40mph some people i know are saying a 80, 82 or 84 jet and ajust the scews on the carb to suit but i cannot find any where sell delorto jets. any help i good plus this is a 04 neos so how do i derestrict the cdi unit as im not shure how thanks
like wobbly basicly said refitt the airbox filters are only suited to some 70s (and 172 etc) with bigger carbs and good pipes

your plug colour should be a coffee brown colour after a normal run. the bike should rev to it's peak power band when you open the throttle all the way no matter how fast it's going.
right i have put the old air box on and set up the air screw but it still is not how it was. It REALLY slows down from 50 to about 40-45 how can i get it to keep the speed on a slight uphill, where as it used to just go up it without losing any speed at all oh and should i put the pin back down in the carb as i moved it up a notch when it was running really bad??
where can i get an exhaust gasket the same as the one that came with endy pipe ??? PMtuning dont sell them
right ive put it all back to what it was and it is still doing it i will try to explain best i can all is well on a flat road up to 50mph and then it runs out of puff BUT before all the running probs started it went off the clock what can i do ive tryed letting mor air and petrol in but still no good does it need upjetting it is really frustrating as it used to be the fastest ped out of all my mate now they blat past me please can someone give me a clue as to what to do next
i havnt changed the belt and i have got 5.5g rollers but it was find before i started pissing around with the air filter
air leek mabey, but im deffo guessing worn belt/roillers aswell. just because it was fine befor doesent mean the belt is in the same state. rich jetting and heavy rollers make for some seriouse belt ware (remember the belt is under more tention as the variator is comming out too quickly and squashing it)
looked at the belt and it was on the wrong way doh and looked and does to appear worn but im not too shure what would it be like if it was worn
as belts start 2 ware they become thinner thus causing them 2 be looser.... has the belt passed its cell by date??
wow, do they have a best before date, eat within 5 days of opening and stuff. they taste horrible when theyv'e gone off.
