NEOS 2 stroke new carb problem

I have upgraded to an arreche 17.5 carb however I can’t get the vacuum on the carb to operate the fuel tap.
Checked the tap with the old carb and it’s fine.
Could it be the new carb being faulty?

 

try using a small piece of wire to see if the vacuum hole into the carb is open

Try taking vacuum pipe off tap and spinning engine over to see with a wet finger you can feel suction
Seems strange just changing carb

 

After fiddling all day finally figured it out, well I say figured it out. I took the new carb apart and cleaned it with carb cleaner and put it back together and now it’s fine, haven’t a clue how that’s made a difference but it has, thanks for the help

 

It does happen
Years ago my cousin had a Ford Escort with front side light out
Checked wiring front to rear of car, after changing bulb,,nothing found
All back together and worked years after.
