neos 100cc drive belt - variator -cluch !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    right i have a yamaha neos 100cc that i bought cheep !!! i dont want to spend loads on tuning it up i took the cover off so i can change the drive belt the variator end bit (the bit with fins on) turns around by its self !!!!! is this supposed to happen ??? im getting the tool of e-bay so i can take the variator off and change the rollers should i put the same weight rollers back in or a bit lighter or even a new variator !!! also the clutch cover is a little bit purple ? will i need a new clutch

    hi mate yea it should turn by its self wat u need is a variator holdin tool which will stop it from moving while u get the nut off if the bike was ok before go for same rollers and a malossi belt bit it bk together then test it see if ok then u can change the clutch if u feel like it really

    right im going to change the belt and rollers (same size)also when i took the head off the piston was black should i rub this off with wet/dry and does the head need tightening to a certan tightness ???? or can i just tighten it up

    ya can clean the piston if u want mate and just make sure you nip the head up tight but not too tight dont wanna snap studs if u need to take em out again i did that be4 never again lol
