need ugent help , bits all over the garden

    right im taking my aerox apart because i borrowed a dremel from work and fancied a bit of flowing and matching , so i started taking my aerox apart about an hour ago and unfortunatley i shaged my 70's kit but oh well , ive got to a point now and im stuck , i cannot for the life of me get my stator outside off , the thing that looks like a clutch bell please help !!!

    its a flywheel, you need a flywheel puller

    they said that about variator tools and clutch tools , but look how many people bodge a way rpund it there must be a way
    ?

    i got mine off with a crowbar because i ordered the wrong pulley
    but i wouldnt recomend this
    just order the flywheel pulley there only about £10

    are they threaded onto the crank or are they pressed onto the splines ?

    they screw into the middle of the flywheel and a bolt that is then screwd into the middle of that pulls it out

    what i meant was is the flywheel threaded on or pressed on , i cound make a tool for it

    its just pushed on, it locates on a woodruff key. my way of removing is a large rubber hammer and hit it on the side, rotate 90 degreese then repeat, should loosen after 5 or 6 good smacks
    i wont guarantee it not to damage your rotor though and they arent cheap.

    How you do that pull the piston out lube up the barrel and stick it in?

    ye just make sure u use plenty of lube or it hurts :emb:
