right im taking my aerox apart because i borrowed a dremel from work and fancied a bit of flowing and matching , so i started taking my aerox apart about an hour ago and unfortunatley i shaged my 70's kit but oh well , ive got to a point now and im stuck , i cannot for the life of me get my stator outside off , the thing that looks like a clutch bell please help !!!
they said that about variator tools and clutch tools , but look how many people bodge a way rpund it there must be a way ?
i got mine off with a crowbar because i ordered the wrong pulley but i wouldnt recomend this just order the flywheel pulley there only about £10
they screw into the middle of the flywheel and a bolt that is then screwd into the middle of that pulls it out
its just pushed on, it locates on a woodruff key. my way of removing is a large rubber hammer and hit it on the side, rotate 90 degreese then repeat, should loosen after 5 or 6 good smacks i wont guarantee it not to damage your rotor though and they arent cheap.
