Need some advice on my aerox please!

could someone please help me out please, i have recently bought a 2002 yamaha aerox, its got a polini 70 kit, polini belt, malossi rollers, polini reeds and polini block, race exhaust,polini clutch, malossi crank, quick action throttle, 21 mil race carb... and my top speed is only around 50mph and acceleration is nothing special could somebody please tell me how i could make it faster ? any advice will be much appreciated, thanks

 

Definitely sounds down on power.

I'd start with a new piston, and new rollers. These are both parts that deteriorate over time, and cause bad running. It's good to replace them anyway really.

 

You can get different grade of piston as well if you change it, make sure you take the correct one

.. but before giving any advice on what to do.. Was it working fine before or has it always been like that?

 

Don't change the piston yet as it could be something else ...how many revs does it do ..can u give us full spec and also the aerox vario is a piece of shit so if u got that it won't help

 

thanks for the advice guys, i only got it other day and not changed anything yet however im ordering new variator tomorrow and a new doppler exhaust, will that impromy my soeed as i have a shitty tecnigas at the min, thanks
