need help fast

i was out on my zip 50cc today when it started peeing it down with rain and my bike kept bogging out,,,,i manage to get home and then turned of and left it.....now it will not start ive checked it has a spark and dose but the plug is megga black....it has a dellorto 17.5 carb with a 98 jet and sponge filter.....really need to sort it for work please any ideas,,,,THANKS

 

Clean your plug and lean the mixture a little, try and ride

 

how do i lean the mixture ive cleaned plug and it deffo sparks on side of frame

 

There will be a screw some where on the side of carb turn it 1/4 of a turn

 

left or right ill try that

 

One way you'll hear the engine speed up the other it'll slow down, u want it too slow down

 

but it wont start for me to that

 

Turn it just a little then, remember which way then try to start it and adjust as required

Just to check, you have got fuel?, does the plug get wet after you've cranked the engine?

 

is this the timing screw you mean or i think there is another one next to like a flat head screw

 

yes mate plug is abit wet but im also loosing light to work know lol

Another one to check, how much charge has your battery got?

 

would battery charge matter from kick start tho leccy dont work

 

Does if it's really dead on cvt ped

ive had nothing but issues with the bloody thing since i brought it GGGRRRRR

 

It's the type of gearbox ie rev and go!

 

Try this dude, take the air filter off and try to start it

Spark plug gapped correctly?

 

yes mate its only about 3 weeks old and tried 2 pluggs ,,,like i say was running ok till in the rain started bogging managed to get home know not start
