i have been looking at the underseat speakers discussion and thought iv have a go iv made the wooden housing covered it in fabric took apart my pc speakers and installed them it all worked fine until i took the plug off and wired it to the battery i wired the same fuse that was in the plug into the system then realised that there was a transformer on the system that was taking the power of my battery down to nothing .on the transformer it said in this order. ctp-809150-2 input-ac 230v/50hz output-zc 9v / 0.3 temp fuse 322 umi .im assuming (ps i dont no much about electrics) that if i wire my sytem without the transformer to the battery then itllgo bang so how can i get it to work do i need 0.3 amp fuse wire or a resistor or what ??????
    thanks for looking

will work fine mate use an inline fuse holder and 500ma fuse

    maplin.......

    RC71N In-line F/H 20mm £1.69

    20mm 500ma fuse £1.50

will work without the fuse but it will keep you speakers and scoot safe should anything go wrong

all u want is a 4:3 ratio transformer , dont actually know the curent output of a scooter battery so cant help you anymore , find that out and i can tell you all the stuff you need and how to wire it up ;)

could just use the 12v as aprilia said but would cause a small loss of sound quality
