Hello I just wondered is there a problem with me putting a ground anchor in front of my house? Like in the road outside my house? So I can chain me bike up to it of a night? I live in Liverpool an someone's tried to rob it before but never succeeded. Anyway I've moved house and I keep it in my hall of a night but I've got 4 steps to get up in my house and it's a pain in the arse getting it in and out every day. Any help would be great cheers

have you got a drain in the gutter out side your house ,if so chain it to that I don't think the council will stand for a ground ancker in the road

Ground anchors work well when bolted to a wall or a long length of heavy chain concreted into the ground, I'd also fit an alarm to it. Leave the steering lock off , chain round the front and rear wheel.
