I have a chinese minarelli clone, at bathe moment it is a 50 and I don't plan to change that, as standard the carb is a 12mm, so the questions are, is the naraku carb any good and is there any real benefit fitting a 17.5 mm carb on a 50? And it looks like a dellorto clone so is the jets the same?

The naraku carbs are ok, but they take a Dellorto 5mm threaded jet, not the 6mm.
Don't mess with the floats in the bottom of the carb they are a bitch to get right again!
Manual choke on them, so you can choose to have the pull up button or lever, but because of the position of the carb on your bike you might want the one that is able to be fitted onto the belt case bolts.
Yes it will make a difference, after all you are increasing the carb size by nearly 50%.
Some of the minarelli's are a pig to set up for speed, but I did a Neos, same engine as the aerox, and I got it to go like stink off the line with a top end of over 55mph, and it got there quick.
But all this depends on the rest of the setup of course.
What you got on there now?

At the moment I have a technigas q-tre exhaust (derestricted) and I have opened up the external part of the exhaust port, I have 4gram rollers and it goes off the clock, which reads upto 50mph. (I know the speedo is probably miles out) but it does go quite well for a 50.

Then I'd leave it at that if I were you, no point upgrading the carb, more fuel usage for very little power/speed gain
