Hi, First time poster. I recently bought a 2008 Peugeot Speedfight 50AC. It was running like an absolute dog when I bought it, but I have done the following: Cleaned carb, air filter Cleaned through exhaust as was blocked Rejetted, as it was derestricted Had the variator etc off to make sure it was derestricted Scooter is now running fine, however was slightly dismayed to find a bearing in my front garden where I've done all the work. It's about 16mm in diameter, and states 608ZZ on it. Pretty sure everything on the variator went back as it came apart, and as the scoot is now running well, I'm hoping it's just appeared in my garden from the road, but can't help but worry i've forgotten to put it back on the bike... Any ideas? Ben
its probably come crom inside the side casing. Its used to support the end of the shaft when the side covers installed. Take the side casing off and check the recesses
Just pulled off the clutch cover and looked all through there, only a couple of recesses, and the parts that fit are still attached to the bike. I've checked everything else, I'm sure it can't have come from this bike, never mind!
hmmm, if it's not off my scoot, that might explain how it got 4 foot over a wall and on to my LAWN... doh!
the only parts on a ped you usually see this bearing is wheels (and this looks very much a wheel bearing) also same bearing in side case (to support shaft) and also inside gearbox i cnt think anywhere else ive seen this bearing on any moped/scooter
