When the peds cold or moving its fine but when it warms up whenever you stop the revs at traffic lights it cuts out and its also hard to start. I put in a new reedblock and valves a few days ago, the problem was still there before that just not as bad. Could it be anything to do with the 21mm carb and what jet would be best to run it, the bikes set up is malossi 21mm carb polini 70s and a pm.

Sounds abit like over fueling if its not able to tick over, does it sputter at all when riding?

I would check the spark plug colour, then setup the carb.

I had this problem an it turned out to be my coil pack/cdi it was not responsive enough for the amount rev i was giving it, that was on a stalker... i also had a same prob on an typh and that was bcos of the auto choke... my methods were more of a trial and error basis you have to keep eliminating the issues

Have you tryed adjusting the tick over? im not to sure what its call but on the carb there should be some sort or thing that cant be turned clock wise and anti clockwise adjusting how high it ticks over. Some are done with screwdrivers like myn but some can be done by hand.
