No damage that i can see luckily. The other side still looks like new aswell Only got them cos they were cheap tbh..if i knew they wouldnt last 10 miles i really wouldnt have bothered though Most annoying thing is it still starts and idles a lot like it did before so I was pissing about with set up for half a day before i took the reeds out lol Are the boysen ones the ones to go for then? Was told the evo ones are good aswell
not sure to be honest i havent tried them, but boysens rep is good, they make single and twin petal/two stage reed valve (the same type as that one but with another lighter petal/valve on top) and out of a stronger material, this was for my kx100 not sure if they sell them for piaggio/gilera engines but worth a look. ill upload a pic to show you when i get time.
Theres some boysen ones on eBay with two parts (two reeds with holes in the middle and two to cover the holes) for piaggios they're about £30 id quite like to try them though. It would probs make more sense to get the vforce but having a whole s6 engine is a bit boring if u ask me lol
I want to post a vid aswell but I keep getting hit with stupid problems whenever I remember lol. Theres currently a half mile trail of petrol leading to my front door cos the carbs overflowing
PMSL no comment I have been getting quite a few compliments when im on the pavement 'fixing' it on the upside though lol
High res for anyone who cares. Still a couple of bits held on with parcel tape as you do lol but you get the idea.. http://img853.imageshack.us/img853/859/5w76.jpg http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/1925/vk1t.jpg
