hello i was looking through the pictures and have a question wich u could possible answer for me did u have to move the studs out in order to make the kit and spacer fit correctly ? good work cant wait to see this bike moving
No the plate bolts on via the normal studs then has a second set of studs that the kit bolts onto. You do however have to grind out the case to allow the skirt to fit in as it's fatter than stock to give more support.
I didn't have time to do it before going to see england vs ghana! The bike looks the same as in the last pics of it just without a front wheel. Should be doing some more work on the body too. Update!
Probably not as it has a little vent thing there and I can't work out how to do it without it looking terrible.
if it was to go too weak, couldnt you just weld like thin support rods around on the inside to give the panel some strength again? looks really good though i like it alot actually. them side pans need abit more work? i can still see where you used filler
Yeah i'm sure i'll be able to do something if it all ends up going wrong. It's a lot of fun working on a metal bike compared to plastic like most scoots. The whole bike is going to get a fresh respray and touch up on all the metal work. That's why in one of the updates theres some body filler! Update!
Thats a nice spare frame , looks like some animal stuck a set of runner forks in the beforehand Looking very good though , will pop up some time this month
