im not a big fan of expansion pipes i wish someone would do a stock looking pipe that has (even minimal) performance gains...we can dream as pipes go thats probably one of the more inconspicuous ones though imo. its hardly a chromed out 360..
out of curiosity, did this have a catalytic converter on it? if it did, what did you do with it when you fitted an aftermarket exhaust? i have an NRG and atm, its just hanging off, dunno what to do with it hah
So you are just using my project as a way to ask a question you should have searched for? Anyway. The bike runs!! Needs a few leaks fixing and a hell of a lot of setting up but it started up perfect.
Sorry works been mental recently so i've had slim to no time to work on it. Done pretty much fuck all since the last update. I'll try and get a vid soon.
keep up the good work mate never really took to these scoots but urs is looking brilliant looking foward to seeing more
Had a small few hours of trying to set it up with minor but as I seem to have lost a brand new set of clutch springs that didn't go very well.
I don't happen to own a van or believe in the need. It can make things easier if you know what you are doing with one and have access to one.
Tempted to throw up a video to show how much transmission setup effects performance. At the moment it would get killed by any setup 70. Doesnt go anywhere till 20mph when the transmission goes off the clutch then trys to wheelie loool. Still got a good few small issues before it's ready for proper road use either way. Little things like needing right angle pipe bits as it's flattening in places and sorting a couple of links.
Oh and I need a new air filter as it seems clearance is an issue. Brand new filter fucked in a couple of mins.
