Well here is my little zip i am building up The engine anyway I brought it with a worn out engine I started by porting the cases I then reasembled the engine with a bgm crank and iron 70cc kit i have an inner rotor ignition coming but its not here yet , so i will run it in with the stock ignition The orginal carb was not big enough and its hard to fit a intake manifold to these bike so i made my own one I have a lazer pro coming for it as well as a v-force reed I cant put it back together until it arrives as you cant take the intake off this engine with out removing engine
No its going back in my zip Im building it to race around the streets in the gold coast of australia They hire them out here and so people are always riding these around it just going to be fun when there is a pack of about 8 of the same bikes and you tear there lips off leaving the lights
nice mate..its like that in england but we tend to race citroen saxos and beat them at the lights lol..keep up the good work bruv
Thanks man I have an inner rotor coming for it as well a vf3 reed Im trying to make a scooter that power stands off the lights to freak them out Not really a stunter to old for that Just an idiot in trafic :w00t:
yeah im like that...never been one for wheelies my self either... but i love hooning around annoying cars in the traffic...and best of all beating other 50/70 scooters imp: nearly forgot...engine looks ace wax head
Well engine is all back in and wired up etc Found the throttle cable was a bit different than the orginal so i will get that fixed and be ridding it tomorrow and harassing harleys the day after Cant wait
Well its going and going well pity the right pipe hasnt turned up and i have to run a shitty Gianelli base model pipe its got alot more grunt but i cant tell with this pipe seriously it sucks balls and the engine will not rev with it Its designed for a stock 50 and i have a mid race 70 on it I put an open airfilter on it and fux me it was loud So i have gone for a highly modifed stock box to keep it quiet I will post pics of that as well in case you guys want to try to do it to your own as well It basically taken any restriction right out of it and still kept it quiet
Cant wait to get the inner rotor ignition on it as well as the vf3 reed as well This baby is going to pop stands everywhere It will try and pop the wheel now and some times it will do it but not always If i lean back even slightly it will reach for the sky but being leaned back it feels real werid and i dont like it at all Got different clutch springs coming to make it burst up on to the pipe as well
engine looks wicked mate, wish my zip was anything like that, instead of being locked up and wasting away outside.
Thanks bud Its going well Still waiting on the rest of my parts to turn up its been 5 weeks so far and still not here The ignition should be here next week as well Its already started to slip the clutch or the belt i am not sure what one i will find out when the other stuff turns up and i pull the cover off
looking good, i like the inlet manifold you've made, i'm looking at doing the same kind of thing with mine. i would be worried that the manifold length between the carb and reeds is a bit long though? not sure if it has and adverse effects.
just wondering whats the crack with the engine? looks like the lovechild of a minarelli ac and piag lump :wtf: lookin good tho
Well i just pulled the old pipe off and put the lazer pro on it It gone way rich and so i will have to rejet it all again thats cool I dont mind at all
I will put the new reed in it and the innner rotor ignition as well as the clutch before i try and retune it
Well scooter is going well I am buying a 21 mm dellorto I got the ok to run ok but it could be better I ma working on a pipe to work with the timing i have The lazer is ok but i dont think it pulls on hard enough for me the pipe goes flat about 1000k and i want it to pull on harder Here is the chambe i have welded up so far I know it looks rough but its just a start and after i have done it and tested it , modified it etc i will make a better one
looking good m8, just grind the welds back m8, plenty material there to shape. just hope you were grinding flat inside as you welded them together LOL keep it up tho fella.. want to see vids of that in action
