now that the other 4 topics have been removed i can give you some advice

your bike didnt go 65. i can tell you that much already

to make the bike faster you can...

    install a 70cc kit
    install a bigger carburettor
get a variator kit to make better use of the power you already have, or the power you will get from doing the above mods.

Yeah I agree, your bike didn't get close to 65mph.

no point putting a bigger carb on without a 70cc kit,
Clutch will NOT make your bike faster,
Belt will not make it faster,
Variator will make it a bit faster.

try stiifer clutch springs rather than whole new clutch mate

costs alot less and does the exsact same thing :D

pull off is slow because it's still restricted and probably has standard rollers on a sports exhaust, which should have lighter rollers.
    You haven't had 65.
the washer in the variator DOESN'T ALLOW IT

clutch won't make it pull off faster.
the clutch puts the power of the engine to the rear wheel, if you have little power that's all it can put to the wheel.
You need the power before it can be send to rear wheel, and power is something your scoot doesn't have at the minute. and by sounds of it probably never will because you're not willing to spend money to make it fast.

Get the washer off the variator. And get a few sets of diff weight rollers and mess about till you find the right weight.. That'll help acceleration. If you wanna hit 65mph.. then you got 2 choices.... 70cc your bike, max out the engine and MAYBE you'll get 65mph... OR...Save ya cash. And get a 125.

    Re: ..

I've got an SR 172, a Vespa cutdown 180 and soon to have a tuned out 166 Vespa also.

I've had to spend money on all my scoots to get them as fast as I want them to be.

I think 70 kits are great to be honest.

you hear of 70cc's hitting 65+
just need to get the right stuff and not be worried about if you get caught and stuff.

lol, you hear 70ccs hitting 85+

    and 26+ bhp

70cc kits are fine, most of them dont "fuck up" unless theyre fitted by a cunt who doesnt have a clue what theyre doing.

    malossi/polini/dr 70 sport kit
    dellorto 19mm
    leo tt
    polini speed control
lighter on rollers which probably hasnt been done
    upjet to suit that.
alter clutch springs to suit your personal taste

and you say you cant legally get a 70 kit, but you want to put a 125 motor in it :confused:arc:

What he means is you have to be 17 to have a 125, you need to be 17 to have anything over a 50cc.. and you said you won't get a 70cc kit incase you get cause, but if you got caught with a 125 engine it would be worse.

I dont think you'll be able to chrome wheels. You will be able to polish them up though.
