    Hey guys.
i recently bought a typhoon 125 of my mate for £200 :) and i got my Doppler air filter and mallossi Rollers (8.7 grams) fitted today at my local shop (they offerd to fit it for free if i bought it from them) and its realy slow. like when i start it, it runs at about 30mph flat out and is slow to get to it and sounds horrible. also wen it warms up after 10mins and it is slower then what it was wen i had the standard rollers and air filter on :( wen i take it flat out its alot more quiet then what it use to be and is slow to get to top speed(sounds like no power?). it runs weird and spluters alot and then revs change beetween alot and none?.

1.Could it be the jets that were changed were to big?
2.Or is there to much petrol going into the engine?
3.Or is it the rollers please help someone :wtf:

rollers sound too light and the jetting could be off. get the airbox back on with the standard jet, then sort the rollers, and then if u really want to piss about with the air filter, that way you will be able to identify your problem.

damn!! could have been quids in there!!

if only I had left dorchester not so soon! :D

naah just listen to what people say on here like sw1ft, minor, terro etc.. the whole point of this forum is to make things more cost effective for you and to enjoy working on it yourself,

it may look a horrible daunting task to change stuff, but honestly changing rollers and jets is piss easy, you get to learn stuff quickly from mistakes trial and error etc and this forum is like a lifeline to where you are going wrong

my first moped or motorised vehicle infact was my first aerox in april/may now with a wee bit of experience I think ive saved hundreds of pounds worth of labour work by doing a DIY

and that doesnt mean a bodge job!!! :D

hi, what shop did you get this work done at as if you go back and tell them the bike is running very bad since they have worked on it , they should fix the problem eg(changing the rollers for heavyer ones)

cheers for the replys guys. when i find the size of the jets in there ill change asap.
i suppose if i did fuck it up i could take it to a friend or a shop :)
im just never use to playing with my ped because i did have a 56 plate aprilia sonic and the 70 kit my mate fitted for me and the rest like fittin the variator and rollers were easy, but nothing went wrong with it (untill i tryed to drink drive and wrote it off), went into the back of a parked car at like 55 ROFL.

i thought so as ive always seen those dopple airfilters in there , there quite good acually there like a stdard by having a box but not so big and they look much better, i dont really take my bike anywhere just order parts from europe and fit them myself , dont realy ride round poole anymore as its rubish i normally go out wareham , bormouth , ringwood as i like the country roads , i went to swanage about 3 weeks as its a nice ride from poole , not on the road atm tho as the insurance has run out on my aerox

ive got a Doppler filter on my Runner 70..

seems like a good filter...looks much better than std air box...sounds mint too!!!

youve got to up-jet 8-10 sizes on the main jet from std ;)

o yea nick, do you ride with a girl with a rs50 and a kid with a CPI sx50? because ive seen someone on an areox in swanage with them about 2-3 weeks ago.
Also are you sure a 90 size jet would be better in my bike?
