ok i got this friday. :mrgreen: its an sr 125, i dont no a lot about mopeds but i cant wait 2 start learning :eh: about them at the mo i need 2 get the stand off coz its snapped i have got the split pin off but god the long bolt wont come out :glare: :glare: any1 no haw i will get it out
It's a pin , not a bolt, just get some wd40 and a bit of heat on it , then tap it out with a hammer, should come out no probs Nice peds they are, just get rid of the shody stickers(use a heat gun) and it will look loads nicer. Since you'v just got it, id change the plug and clean out the air filter at least, i'f your comfident in doing transmition then have a look at the belt and rollers as they usually get worn and people don't know any better. :good:
thanks for the tips. i have put wd40 onit. when u say a bit of heat what do u mean. Blow torch or will a heat gun do it
watever you have really, blow torch is the better option though just be carefull with it, watch where your pointing it.
