had my scooter for nearly a fortnight now ,and done quite a few miles ,been everywhere ,got lost a good few times I bought the scooter off a mechanic who's rebuilt it and most parts are new ,its got a leo vince racing exhaust and god knows what else he has done to it, but it is rapid ,and I mean rapid . it's got 50mph on the clock ,it reaches that at 3/4 revs on a straight and just keeps going ,I can burn cars off who want to race . only thing is I don't think the brakes have been upgraded to cope with the speed as it takes a good bit of distance to stop ,it's not to much of a prob at the moment, just need to leave more room between other cars and upgrade next payday . anyone else getting speed like this from a 50 ? and what could he have done to it to make it so fast ? not got a clue about engines and the like, so just curious .
possibly a 70 kit, maybe tuned as well, larger carb than std and racing variator...the list is endless. A decent 70 without tune should nudge 70mph if you're lucky
would it still pass an m.o.t if it was a 70 ? as it only went through on the 6th of this month . as I say I don't know much about them really ,apart from sitting on and steering lol .
nice! My speedfight 100 takes about 3 weeks to get to 50! thats with a 19mm stage 6 carb on as well! fml
yes it'll pass with a 70cc kit, that's nothing to do with the m.o.t, they're there to make sure the bikes safe, not see if it's been moddified, as mods are not illegal!! (yet) what scooter is it ? Also is it ac or Lc ?
it's a Peugeot jetforce 50 c-tech on a 55 plate , sorry don't know what ac /lc is , so how will I find out . im wanting to learn as much as poss ,with a view to upgrading parts myself .
hence me asking if it was ac or lc, all 70cc kits which are liquid are marked with a different brand on them
