My scooter Died on me and will not start

    As the title says My scooter died on me and will not start.. i was riding up an hill i felt it loose power then died completely, i only had the bike 1 week as it was in getting set up and was running perfectly fine before, ive stripped it down and had a look heres a list of wat i have done

    Checked Spark and is strong
    Cleaned carb and jets
    Checked fuel lines and seems fine and fuel getting thro as wet plug
    The Compression is fine

    The bike really sounds like it wants to fire up but will not for some reason, please help i will be so greatful thanks

    get a new plug for a start and try that, have you checked reeds? vacuum pipes?

    yep ive got a new plug and still no luck and as the reeds i had them out yesterday and replaced them just incase and still wont start, how do i check vacuum pipes working?

    ive read that this also can be caused by crankcase seal out of place or broken, but would my bike bog and die from that?

    Could do as its loseing compression. Just pull the variator off an check for any oil around the seal

    this happend to me as i was riding up the A3 last week found out to be the voltage regulator i replaced it and found tht it works fine now

    i would wack ya head off jus incase as i had comprssion but i had a big massive gouge from a broken circlip

    you say its got compression. Is this just a gut feeling , the resistance when its kicked over or have you actually measured it? ...should be over 100psi to be right

    it will blow your finger off with practicaly no compression

    weres your voltage regulator and how do i know if this is fucked?

    voltage reg is on the side where your engine casing is .
    take off the back panel and its a little silver block thing and which just chance and luck mate i went out replaced it not knowing that it was that and lucky enough it worked

    If your plug is wet, stop searching. It's the ignition. If you've changed the plug, change the coil - then check the wiring and the rotor bell. If that does nothing change the CDI.
