I got a few sets of rollers for my 50cc Kymco. Trying them out to see which ones work best, put about 200KM on each set, and noticed they aren't turning all the way. Some are turning just a bit, some about half way, but none seem to have consistent wear (or any wear) all the way around the roller like the old set.

They are not "test" rollers, but are brand new. I am afraid of getting flat spots prematurely. Is this typical since they are new? Or am I missing something.

they aren't meant to turn all the way, they only actually have to roll about 10mm

How would you tell if your rollers spin 360 degree or 0 degree?

The two on the right are the original stock 8,5g and the new ones are 6,5g and 7,0g to match my new pipe. I read somewhere it's a good idea to spray silicon on them before install, I did that to the heavier set and it didn't help.......... got the same result with the "dry" 6,5 ones too.

I think they will eventually roll, maybe they are out-of-round because they're new. Being a newb to doing mods maybe I should know this :p

Am I right, they just need to be broken in? Concerned about flat spots thats all.

Not really, no. The only thing I can "feel" is by driving and on occasion it will be slow to accelerate from a downshift (could be the contra spring) and a strange vibration (not steering shake) from the drivetrain area at 42-45MPH (top speed). Don't know what else that rubbing/vibration feel at that speed could be.

It's cool, my scooter is new (1st scooter) and it's the first time I swapped them out. There's a wealth of knowledge on here, thanks for the help.
