if you realy want to have a bit of fun, invest in a malossi 172 kit, there about 200quid for a air cooled typhoon. trust me it'll bring a smile to ur face :pimp:

    maybe in the future
but if i stick that on
    what else would need changeing?
    gears,, rejet higher
and maybe oilpump set a lil bit higher to add a bit more oil

for now could you or any1 read my bassic setup?
AND most IMPORTANTLY ABOUT THE AIR FILTER, ITS LIKE A NEW TYPE, I THINK, NO
AIR COMES IN AT THE FRONT!! ITS THE BACK AND YOU CAN HAVE 1..2..OR 3 OPEN AIRINLETS

    JET HELP PLEASE PEEPS

ive never used that air filter so i cant help u realy but i cant imagine it beeing much differnt than any other open filter, tbh its not going to make much of a differnce on a stock engine. id start at around a 96 main jet and work down. with a 172 all ud need to do is upjet again and it will run ;)

jet is 6mm on the mikuni - ditch it for a dellorto tho...

forks are expensive thats it lol, can get standards or even malossis too for between 150-350.

experience is the main learning curve, i for one am a bike mechanic. did the courses done the practical etc.

it dont say why you want the filter it just says blah blah please help jet my bike im too lazy or sumin like that lool, i really really wouldnt recomend it btw.

but ye 92 sounds right but you do realise you will have to play around with transmission setup AND jetting.

huh im changeing the main jet for 92?

    nah im not lazy ma8
ive done alot to is in a quick time if you aske me
although not moding just the ehole process of taken to bites to check for things and treating the fram etc

and i just want to change the exhaust and filter
as the piaggio 1nse make me want to be sick when i look at them

ALSO YOU SAY...can get standards or even malossis too for between 150-350. huh i thought doppler would be better than standard as everyone with a typhoon includeing me has probs with stock front forks ..might be ba luck though
anyway i thought mallossi front forks are like£400?
is £215 for the fron dopplers to much

whats the best place to buy parts like i need from to make sure im not overpaying

    THANKS FOR YOUR HELP MATE

that what i was thinking thats why i wanted it due to the design
is similar to a standard box

do you think i should still go up 10 sizes with the jet (82 go up to 92) with just 1 hole at the back open?

daym thats the only thing i need o learn about the carb
    setting it up properly
cause who ever had the bike before me fooked
with the airmix screw and the throttle cable at carb & throttle end

you got a link so i can quickly read and learn about it

maybe even a place to learn everything about scooter building fixing moding etc....

as im new to this stuff

No one can give u a specific size so stop askin.
its trial and error..doit yourself and find out, if you realy are interested in your scoot then try
i have one of them filters on my 172 with all 3 holes open and it works like a airbox but revs freely.

and change ur pic..u scary muva fuckerr

you cant have a correct jet as such
you have to try different jets drive the bike and see what ones
feels the best in your opinion.
