Apparently I should only get the crank if i intend to do over 60 e.g 65 70, so i cant say im not tempted

You will be lucky to touch anything over 60 on a polini anyway tbh. crank isnt completely necessary for that kit

Look on the pedparts blog at the sport kit test, the stage6 is way better for top speed and acceleration and doesn't need a gear up.m

Look at the pedparts blog, the stage 6 kit maintains it peak power longer so it doesn't need a gear up kit. The trade off is the crank which will need to be changed as the higher power is deliverd at higher revs. My Aerox is fitted with a top racing (doppler) crank which is rated to 15000 revs and is more than capable.

Unless you're specifically after a cast iron kit. Naturally theres pros and cons for both.

The sport pro is decent value aswell.
