Little bit of work done this evening, Painted the engine cases up, not got any pics as I didn't want to cover my camera in paint, also the 2 new Pirelli tyres arrived this morning, so need to get the old tyres taken off the rims and to get the new colour on the wheels before getting the new tyres put on

Small update, another arrival this morning,

Yea can be used on a 4t mate

 

yes also gives a lot more power and response over the diaphragm type

 

Will have a few pics up tonight, the kit is a bolt on job no case flowing with 4t engines, only given it a mild enlargment to the opening of each port gonna get another head and go to work on that as I want to use this one as a spare

haha you can tell youve not done much 4t work, the cases in a 4t are full of oil!

Old Piston vs New Piston



New piston on


Cylinder Kit & Transmission fitted up


Head Fitted


Exhaust trial fitted


Carb fitted up

Then fitted up the plastic cowling & fan cover to the engine

Engine back in scooter (Exhaust removed at this point..... more on that later)


Side cover back on


thats how it is at the moment, exhaust has been left off to make it easier to fit the rear wheel as the wheels are having the tyres removed for painting and fitting of the new Pirelli's

Just need to order new cables, a filter, get a few diffrent grade plugs and a few other small bits to make it look nicer, also got to fit up the Stage 6 gauge, won't have time to do much over the next week or so as going to be very busy, will update as soon as

 

That looks awesome.

Had one of these as my first scoot and it was a very good bike.

Can't wait to see it finished and running.

Standard 50 plug is a CR8EB gonna go with a CR9E though no plug chopping on 4t's,

 

that a nice pipe, dose it have baffles in?

 

Yea it has baffles, they are removable though
