Just been to a local garage and saw this nice 51 plate 4 stroke runner 180, saw the price tag and just couldnt help but say "be right back going to the bank". Then an hour later I put down my deposit to hold the bike for me while my broken arm recovers. Its got no mallossi shit on there so im going to keep it nice and simple and as stock looking as possible, might just get a stainless steel pipe and a couple of goodies for the appearence of the bike and it should make a nice workhorse. Cant wait, due to pick this baby up on the 18th nov, 2 days after the hospital finish off fixing my elbow. Best of all it was only £795 with tax and mot, and its only done 2300miles from new & only 1 previous owner & heres a pic
it was only £795 with tax and mot, and it's only done 2300miles from new & only 1 previous owner. The same garage has another runner 180 the same age but its done 25+ thousand miles and looks rusted to fuck, for £1100. So I didnt do bad getting the much better bike cheaper aye
Cheers mate, I just couldnt help myself when I saw the price after looking at the bikes condition, runs nice too he fired it up for the first time in a few weeks and it went no probs. well atleast my runner 50 can rest now lol its had a hard life
yeah im gonna take the 50 to bits soon and build it back up to be a nice 70's but I plan to keep it as reliable as possible The 180 im just gonna get a few bits and bobs nothing too noticable maybe a scorp pipe and a evo front pannle and nothing else because i will be using it everyday
dam that bargain man i pretty much done the same for my runner 125 the moment it came it the shop i told the guy it mine no touch it, but i paid bit more then you lucky git
Nice I would love a 125 2 stroke they also have a nice condition 125 typhoon there for £1200 but I aint paying that. And apparently the 180cc L/C 4 valve 4 strokes are just as quick as the 2 strokes but just take longer to get to top speed?
