well i picked this up yesterday. its totally standard. im picking up a runner 125 2t up next week but it is the drum model. i want to make the runner abit of a beast so i wanted the newer engine with the rear disc. so the plan is to put the runner (drum) engine in to the dragster and smoke the drag whilst im doing a full build on the runner. i plan on keeping both scoots tho to be fair. ive paid £500 quid for the drag not to bad i dont think

oh yeah and please ignore my olympic pool. im getting enough practise in for 2012 haha

yeah it needs a clean. the headlight needs connecting up aswell as both calipers putting back on.. other then that its not to bad. it started straight away.

i know what your saying. to be fair ive never been keen on them at all. but im slowly falling in love with it lol

I'm a big Dragster fan and love the way they look. They have a really unique look and suspension system and I think forks kind of ruin the whole thing. I know a few people who would consider it some kind of sacrilage to put forks on them :-D

Unfortunately though it's getting to the point where so many people's steering is worn out, and there are so few people who have actually managed to sucessfully repair them. Runner forks may be the only option for a lot of people who want to keep riding their Drag.

I really want to have a tuned Runner as well as my Drag. Would be nice to have one of each in really good condition with nice engines.

For £500 you got an absolute bargain there mate! Wasn't all that keen on them if I'm honest but over time I've grown to like them, they're incredibly rare now and in a few years a mint one will be worth some serious money! :good:

hmm cant really believe how rare they are after being to luv2scoot and then the darkside rally there were more dragsters than runners and probably anything else

To be honest a lot of it seems to go by area as much as anything else, up here you don't really see many Typhoons down south that's what they're all about. Seen a few Dragsters about but I'd personally say they're getting rarer now and Runners are all I ever see!

It's still going to be a scoot for the future, definitely worth money in good nick. ;)

haha yeah j4ck pop round lol.. gambles right all you ever see is runners. you hardly see any dragsters in notts.. i think ive only ever seen one and that was fastlanes.
the engines now out of the dragster ready to be played about with.. ive gotta get off my arse and take the engine out my runner (drum) and put it in the drag
