Corsa! 2003 52 plate 29,000 miles £3000 £600 insurance in my own name on a provisional license.
i just baught a mitsubishi colt 1.3 for 700 quid with no m.o.t seems sily spending any more as a first car ben.
because it's not going to depreciate too much, it'll hopefully always appeal to someone with this insurance category. And also my parents wouldn't let me get anything cheaper (i would have loved a mk1 golf or polo). called quinn direct
Nice car but if i was you i would have got like a polo 2002 they have better reliable engines altho parts are expensver lol Thinking about tuning it ??
car = warm transport wiht music.. mabey a bit of fun, but bikes ftw.. a car is a means, a bike is a means to an end
But its not a £3k hatchback isit imp: my first cars gotta be a small cc hatchback for the insurance purpose then im gettign a audi a4 1.9 tdi or something. cba witht he turbo 1.8 wide arch clio lol imp:
nice car that is, just dont "chav it up" insurance wont be so cheap when you have a full licence lol. and the reason most people pay so much for a first car is obvious really, you want to look stylish, have a nice car to drive around in with power steering and mre safe for incase you have a crash i supose? ide rarther buy a car for £3000 than buy a £300 car...
only reason it costs the money is the numberplate.. car as far as its function goes isnt worth more than 500 to me (sorry to say) my car is a 1.4 low mialage with dsecent interior with alloys. payd a tenth of what you did. i know what i prefer aswell.. fuck it tho if you like it all that matters, just gets me when you could have bnought a half decent car for that (scooby or similar for that price)
just gets me when you could have bnought a half decent car for that (scooby or similar for that price)[/quote] probley because he couldnt hangle a scooby lol and he would never get insured on one
because hes insured as a learner driver, it will go up to around £1200 when he passes his test
how the fuck does that work burns? everybody would be a learner for 2 years if that was true! maybe if he is on parents insurance it would work that way but meh insurance goes down by 10% when u pass your test and upto 30% extra for pass plus. please get your facts right! personally i think its a girly car but i learnt to drive in one and they are really nice to drive! to turn on the light near the rear view mirror, press the headlight switch in, just incase u didnt know.
