yeah, had renthals, kx125 forks, yokes and front wheel, knobbly back on lenghened shocks. it was a beast. gasflowed head, freeflowing pipe (streight through) and a few other trick bits.
any pics of this c90 wobbly??? :msn1: in all fairness i wouldnt mind a c50 with a pit bike 125 manual engine, mod a straight through exhaust onto it aswell, would be fun for kroozing lol and reliable for long journies... :nerd:
nah, it was before i had a digital camera, or a phone for that matter. had to re-weld the rear of the frame because i broke it in two.
i want one of these as my next bike.. just wondering where are these restricted ? cheers ben. EDIT: is this the dtx ? and do all dt's have a power valve ? (YPVS)
yes its the DTX or DTR SM, all these have powervalves on a pulley, but not all dt's do, on older versions its pegged shut with no pulley restrictions: 1/ big exhaust restriction might as well replace 2/ c.d.i needs a wire earthed to the frame to stop the timing retarding at a certain revs. there the main restrictions and once removed your looking at a very reliable 20-22 BHP apparently removing the airbox snorkel, and cutting away at the rubber bit in the reed valve block that directs mixture to tip off reeds helps but i just noticed less bottom end power an a nicer noise (only removed snorkel didnt cut away at rubber)
so the newer dt sm's / dtx's have the power valve ? cause if so i will get one of those over a motocross dt cheers ben.
its the same as the dt with the knobbly wheels, just with better wheels so ofcourse it has a power valve imp: i cant wait until i get mine derestricted lol!
