got a bargain honda vf750f it had been stood for 2 years, and it was very noisey (it started with new plugs and the right battery.) the front cam chain was loose and the front top oil pipe was the original 25 year old one which should have been recalled, the motor was as it left the factory at the front two cylinders! so ive been repairing what needs fixing and ordered a few new parts. also i made a special exhaust, its from the collector box into 2 pipes, which are roughly 3 inches in length straight through with 45 degree slash cut tips. not heard it run with them yet as im waiting for my cam chain tensior to arrive. watch this space.

so been very busy with this, done many kilometers and travelled to lots of nice places in the area including a place called "the beer bay". the pipes i made where way too loud, put the standard pipes back on and im gonna baffle my homemade ones, they were louder than a drag bike (nice sound tho, V4!). going to get a "new" scoot for work (its only 3km to work). oh the vf is a tad under 100hp.

was the cdi, it rubbed on the frame and cut the wires, had a spare, plugged it in and moved the cables

little update, doing fork seals, turns out the forks are 50% water 50% oil and 100% rust, really needed the seals done!

forks are rebuilt, but found out im missing a part that equalises the air pressure between the forks (they have air assist). im hoping the parts bike will have the part i need.

Least you've got the thought in you're head,

Absence makes the heart grow fonder and the satisfaction
of finally arriving at a goal you've had to wait for............. .

ive got a few more bits to do too, the carbs need stripping and cleaning, im gonna get it dyno'd as soon as the dyno is fixed, its hitting a massive deadspot in the mid and first gear is limited im sure.

another update, fitted the forks, decided i would drop them about 30mm and filled the air hole. i would start doing more bits but the tendonitus in my shoulder is limiting me very much, gonna go for a ride on it today as its a nice day.

what a great ride, the sun was shining and the roads where almost dry, did about 100km i think. raced a bmw in a tunnel (80kmh speed limit ) safe to say i dropped down to 4th and opened it up coming up the 4km 6% hill the other side, at one point the lights became one long blurr.
got myself a cheap action cam thing, so will start putting vids up soon
