heres my swift gti that ive turboed only running 175bhp flywheel but at 735kg she dont go bad hehehe i have another project one wich is 4wd and hoping for 300bhp plus gas :grin: cheers steve
cheers completly standard engine 150.000 miles lol these motors were built so well ihi vf38 turbo running 10psi 2.5" exhaust with middle and back box gineric turbo chip in origanal ecu made by a mate of mine in australia years ago gear box 4 puck clutch 3kg billet flywheel cusco lsd koni shocks custom rear springs spax front springs thicker anti roll bars hankook rs2 ytres errrr evo 4 sears some harnesses yada yada yada lol this is just my run around i have another one im building more for track and its 4wd :grin: this still goes well my mates evo was dynoed at 330 bhp (whp) im leval until 3rd and 4th then he just plain has more power lol but corners im up his ass love ma tin lol
nice and at almost 240bhp per tonne yea I bet it does go well! one thing I would say though is harnesses mounted on a strut brace is a big no no! should be a properly welded in harness bar as per msa/fia regs ( or even mot for that matter! shouldnt pass a legit one as it is!) think of a side impact right into that suspension turret! wouldnt take much to sheer them bolts and harnesses would be floating around doing not alot!
lol yea it does mate if you saw the standard seat belt mounting points on a swift you would feel safe in those the side eye hooks are welded to the floor the strur brace is steel aswell and i rewelded the joins i know what ya mean but in all the swifts wrote off swifts etc ive seen i have never seen a suspension turrot top bolt sheer off steve
