My Honda X8R-S tuning

Alright guys, I've got an X8R-S myself, with just Giannelli Reverse Exhaust and nothing else, I'm wanting to get it better, and I hear a lot about X8R's should be hitting 50 - 60+ if it has been tuned correctly, I'm still hitting 38 then my CDI is cutting out the revs, anyone know what else I should get if I was to get a racing CDI that's cheap that could help me hit a decent speed, that's relatively cheap?

Get a unlimited cdi and a new 70 kit, make sure everything is derestricted. should be quite fast then might need a better variator aswell

 

Yeah, I'm looking at buying a CDI first, but the cheapest is like £90?

I've seen that website, and apparently it de-restricts your stock CDI, and apparently it only adds on 5MPH more..?

 

it will do the same job as a "race" cdi on your stock bike mate.
