My Honda CBR 600 F

Haven't posted anything about it really before and purplepill said he was interested so maybe a few others may take an interest.

I bought it in March 2007 which was just a couple of weeks after my restriction of 2 years ended. Went up to Liverpoolish area to get it and had to trailer it back because it wasn't taxed, wasn't insured etc bla bla bla.

The only things I have done since I got it is add R&G white crash bungs, it already had the blue flame exhaust. I've kept it as mint as poss. I've taken it up to top end but now more interested in the twistys and rideouts.

I've been as far up as Lincoln and back in a day, I do many of the Ace Cafe - Brighton or wherever runs every year. Does me well, will be sharing the shed this year with hopefully a 180 runner and a ducati 916

Yeah you've kept that in good condition, I like the paint scheme too :nerd: There a good all-rounder I miss mine.

newbold, I hesitated about putting that pic up because I thought someone might comment on the other bikes lol. There was more pics on that day but 3 birds or 1 on a bad day had shat on my bike :emb:

Purplepill, they great bikes ain't they, I've just gotta look after mine a bit more, bit reluctant because of this shitty weather.

Why?

Because the standard front end is pretty minging, mine had a race fairing on it anyway.

And after i shattered the screen i took it off.

It's a work in progress and needs tidying up, but it's going to look great.

 

I thought it looked well nice in first pic (except engine bars/wheelie bar but im guessing there essential for you )

Does look bad in second pic though lol, not just the fact the front fairings fecked, but what youve replaced it with :msn1:

Still, like you say its work in progress and has potential, I like the paint scheme on yours too.

At least you can tell it gets used imp: .

 

Deffo a used motor lol..

Gotta get the wiring sorted out at the front end, and i'm pulling the headlight IN, but for now, i'm building an army.
