I have had my runner for a few months now.

I thought I would upgrade the belt to a polini belt as it was stretching and slipping slightly once it had warmed up. This was a good thing because it was keeping the power after riding for a few miles.

I then replaced the clutch springs for a set of polini springs.(This is where the problems began!!). I put the weakist set in (green) and it was grim! it was revving and nothing happened in till it got to 10-15 mph then picked up well. So i then tried the yellow ones and it was much the same, if not worse!

I sat and then thought it must be down to the variator/rollers so go a malossi variator with 12.5g rollers, which were lighter than the standard rollers. joy!!! it revved up well and shot off like a rocket!!..........BUT......over time it seemed to not rev as much and seemed like it was slipping, a bit like before i put the variator and rollers in.

I had an uprated torsion spring for the clutch with the variator kit so fitted it, and now it is even worse!! it feels like it is not revving much and slowly builds up,where as it was keeping high revs all the way through the speed range.

I took it all to pieces and noticed that the rollers have started to edge off, even though there new(few weeks old) and the clutch shoes are really glazed. does any body think the clutch is slipping, or please can anybody give me some input as i don't no where to go next????

Thank you for reading my essay but i felt it best to post this, as i thought i scooter expert may no what my problem may be or advise me on this matter because i'm starting to run out of ideas. what about experimenting with different rollers?? or new clutch shoes?? thank you rick please help me :beg: :beg:
