my electric start

    today my electric start stoped working and i have no idea why, about a week ago i had to start really pressing the back brake in really hard to get it to work and had to ever since but now it just do anything. upto now i have checked the electric start button and wd40 the wire goin into it n made sure all conected.has any one got any ideas on what the problem may be and what i can do ? cheers chris

    check your relay mate..or could be a bad earth which is under the engine case!

    It could be the switch attached to the brake lever. My mates went on his DNA before. It's where the lever joins a cable line I think, its hard to explain without pics.

    brake light switch, try using your front brake.

    thanks for the replys guys, i noticed my back brake light wasnt working so i took the micro switch out were the back brake lever is and wd40 it and it works now and also did it to the front one aswel and now that works with the brake light and start it with the front brake aswell, as before it wouldnt i thought it was normal for the front not to work as my mates dna doesnt iva.also the micro switchs i found are to large and need to be a bit lose for them to work properly :pimp:

    yeah there are 2 or 3 different length switches you can get.
