as some of you saw in my project zip thread i posted a couple of pics of my car so thought i would post up the w.i.p i know its not to everybodies taste i hear it alot off people like w.t.f have you done ect ect but my car my rules i build it for me to enjoy and those who like it thats a bonus picked it up for £600 needs a bit of work but all is planned out its a 1.6 corsa b sport, has been lowered all round, back box, alloys, lex ARSE lights, angle headlights and KnN filter these are the pics of how it looked the day i bought it as you can see it needs a bit of work, rust in places which is soon to be sorted out but for £600 i cant really complain so far i have debardged it, gave it a bloody good polish, put an old set of tinted l.e.d rear lights which need re-tinting and lastnight i did this had to smooth the backing plate and re-drill the hole to fit so here they are however they are rather small, smaller then i thought lol pics of the engine cover and a bit extra i did the other day, polished and painted the inlet manifold window tints and steering wheel smooth front and rear bumper, de wipered and under bonnet work! i smoothed the front and rears myself and sprayed the bonnet, boot, arches, side skirts and bumpers myself well heres the pics [/quote] on went the new alloys they are league retro star alloys then it failed its MOT epicly and had to replace the rear, rebuild the rear arches and fit a new drivers side sill only have a pic of the back end after i cut it out but the rear is all back together how it should be but i have a bit of an issue as to the fact that the rear lights have moved out from the boot so that the boot edge is about half inch to and inch from the light hock: and i have fitted the new arches and painted the calipers will get better pics when its finished and spaced the wheels out heres a few pics of how its looking (pics are HUGE had the wrong setting when they uploaded) so decided that the interior was looking a bit bland as corsa's are so re-trimed the roof lining (first time i have ever done anythink like this so its not perfect but im happy with it) had a bit of help from my nan also resprayed the plastic trim matte black and added heart and silver star stickers (with the help of the missus) and heres the out come im getting my bonnet wrapped on the 5th jan cant wait also have ordered wheel bolts for 25mm spacers i have then its just little things to neaten up the exterior then on to do the rest of the interior BONNET WRAP DONE will let the pics talk for themself well pics of how its standing wheels spaced out better fronts rears need a bit more space have now got myself some front coilovers and adjustable rears ordered tinted headlight covers a pair of 32mm spacers being made and a new drivers seat headlight covers right i have been a bit busy retrimmed my A pillars in carbon wrap and done a bit of graffiti on them them cabon wrapped the boot release thing (dont know the name lol) did crinkle abit due to the shape have also carbon wrapped my arches but as the wrap wasnt wide enough i had to do it in 2-3 pieces, not that noticable until you look up close! havent got pics of them atm due to the car being filthy oh and just a tease NEW SPACERS carbon wrapped the b pillars, i found the trick to good wrapping is a hairdryer was going to do a bit of stickerbombing on them but decided not to had a couple of stickers that i wanted to use but i couldnt find the best place to stick them then fitter A pillars and B pillars now i cant decide what to do with the center console as doesnt really go with what i have done so far this is how it looks an ideas? carbon wrapping it is more difficult due to the gap where the clock is as cant really leave the inside plain then i gave it a fooking good clean as i havent in a while also carbon wrapped the arches need to rero them though i pulled out of a parking space my bottom ball joint snapped was lucky it happened at work as the day before i done a 300 mile drive from camberidge to devon, if it happened on the motorway god knows what would have a happened, also due to the fact nothing was holding my wheel steady when it was put onto th back of the lorry my wings got damaged and pulled the drive shaft out and ripped my inner CV boot heres the pics damage wing have managed to get the wing as best as i could and whilst i was doing it i came up with a lil idea and set to work.......bit of graffiti car is now back together and wing is fitted with a bit more work done to keep with the grim reaper heres the pics right as i said in a previous post i had got a new front splitter off a trans am, well i fitted and look rude as fuck however i had a bit of an incident as to which i bottomed out and it ended up wrapped under the car smashed to pieces :x  however i played around with it abit to make it work as would have been a waste of money not to atleast try, it did have vents in it but these got damaged when i caught it so have came up with this gave the car a wash and fitted new splitter from a mk2 golf also removed the heart and star stickers off the dash and 32mm spacers came in the post yesturday £80 well spent i think well finally got round to fitting the RX7 seats, was a bit of a pain in the arse job but here is how they look decided to redo my boot lock, so got rid of the carbon wrap and done this with left over material i had kicking around have also varnished it so that it doesnt go mank in the wet and becomes waterproof well here is the boot lock fitted i then blew the engine up and had a car show so got a courtesy car this is how i rolled up at modded nats well this is what i have been upto lately well while the car was off the road with a blown engine just havent got round to getting pics up to start i retrimmed the A,B and C pillars in the same material as the roof also added abit of wood vinyl retrimmed my dials and where the air bag would be infront of the passenger will be redoing these in wood vinyl to match the new steering wheel (havent got any pics) and then i got bored with the boot there were alot of problems doing this as the paiint reated when i sprayed it with my paint gun so ended up spraying it using a can but will be getting the whole car resprayed when i have the money as the paint work is not in a great condition i will let the pics talk for themself and the result i got from rattle can's not to bad considering as said does need respray and then redone the wheel center caps this was at a car show end of last year and pretty much how it stands now and on the way there one of my fav pics of USC, had to do this quick lol all comments welcome
^^ Agree but i quite like the wide arches. Also - theres a mantzel powerbox replica inlet manifold on ebay right now for your car; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vx-perfor...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item33720c051b I don't think these are made anymore but they're a bolt on mod good for £20 around bhp once mapped or around 10-15 without map. You should stick a bid in!
i dont know why but i like your style mate... its unique... you have a unique personality... everything you make is awesome! good job!
terror nope no joke i understand that you dont get it, most people dont i get it all the time lol but people are welcome to their opinions of the car and cheers for the comments peeps
Loool Not really my cup of tea tbh but not the worst corsa in the world and I can appreciate the work thats gone into it. Oh and I like the wheels . Whats the story with that backbox? Custom?
thats cool dude i know its not to everybodies cup of tea and with the back box the stars as basically tips i had custom made and i just fit them for car shows
Not my cup of tea. However, I can see that ypu have put a lot of hard work into this, so on that front well done! I do like is the stance, and the red lights at the front though. Was that just a case of replacing the standard bulbs in the angel lights to red ones?
cheers dude i know its not to everybodies cup of tea lol and for the red light i split the headlights took the original halo's out as they didnt work and replaced them with red l.e.d ones then glued the headlight back together
Does it get much attention from plod. Did the ball joint break because of the extra stress from the spacers?
tbh it doesnt get attention from them atal lol and ball joint went due to the stress of being lowered it snaped again at the weekend had to repair it in tesco car park aswell as doing and outer CV joint lol the joys of having a modified car lol
i like it because its different, did you make the star tail pipe things? i think they are a cool show piece of metal work.
thought I recognized this your on corsasport? still think its not my cuppa tea but still a good laugh
Fair play, can see a lot of work has gone into it...but not my cuppa T either lol... Being a big Ford fan, vauxhalls are pony haha 'id rather push a ford than drive a vauxhall' comes to mind Loving them alloys though, best part of the car id say.. they are Sick !
