wont like the 21mm carb... if you cant see how it needs modding its gonna be REAL hard for anyone to explain it to ya m8.....

try getting some pics of the front back and inside then we can draw where to cut

yeah ive just done some more modding on my airbox ;)

goes proper now....and ive had to go up to a 80 main in my 20.5mm :p

yeah your box will need some surgery with a 22mm carb :D

would of been better to find this out before you started running pre-mix, but...

The oil to petrol ratio you want is 50:1 ;)

and if you dont know what that means, its 20ml of oil per litre of petrol :pimp:

90 jet in a 22 on an aerox seems a little small to me.. try upping it slightly and have a play with the transmission. all the setup is in the transmission really.. carbs will run ok out of correct setting but transmission wont

i read somewhere on the internet that smaller carbs give better midrange performance because the mixture has more velocity goin through the reeds , is any of that true ?

yes, but this revers to full throttle at mid revs.. auto's dont do half revs at full throttle so fuck all reason to apply that rule to an auto. geard bike is totally diff tho

not to sure about that one but could be true but midrange aint the problem its top end aint as fast

We get more low end out of the big carbs on jetskis then the smaller carbs
A small carb will give maybe a bit better throttle response but less power everywhere

If you want to get good throttle response out of a larger carb you using ignition timing to do it
