my 172 typh - israel

    hey guys!
    my name is kobi and i"m from israel. we are in israel had some tuned scooter , many love the typh with skipper (150) engines
    also we have just a few with 172 kit.(wish i can see more)
    anyway this is my typh ,putting him a lot of money and love, want to see
    when i bought him with 172 kit only ,

    at the start he drive very slowly,after talking with some tuners i decide that next will be malossi multyvaritor

    adding 25 dell'orto carb and malossi reeds
    [​IMG]
    [​IMG]

    changing runner wheels,wave disc and leaking fork to a new shape one

    [​IMG]
    [​IMG]

    changing the F!@king front master cylender brake to a upper master cylender

    and RMS rear adjustable shock
    [​IMG]


    the blue color become boring so decide to change it to black untill...

    and that like he looks today

    everyone knows that typh stock fork is suck's so after research decide putting an APRILIA LEONARDO fork with wheel and master completly

    its great fork !!! i recommend it for typhoon owners

    for some bad luck after riding it like half an hour heard strange noise from lower engine and thought the main bearings just see mighty god and past away...
    after open engine this is what happen :wallbash:

    thats was stock crankshaft,
    know waiting for MALOSSI .

    we do have a guy from israel with a good spec 172 typh he has a project page around here somewere.

    damn thats bad, never seen a crank sheer off like that before. proves that the standard one isnt up to the job.

    cant honestly remember atm.. ill messure a true 125 crank, the 180's were slightly bigger but i think you may have one with the small webs by the look of it.
